Helping you grow with the flow!

That’s My Therapist

I established "That's My Therapist" to continue the important work of distigmatizing therapy after observing my clients became more invested in their treatment and more willing to openly share their therapy experiences with others when their therapist was authentic and relatable.

Selecting a therapist isn't solely about qualifications; it's equally vital to find someone with a shared experience, who understands the nuances of being a person of color in this society, and offers a safe space for clients to be themselves.

Safety plays a pivotal role in the healing process, providing environments where code-switching isn't necessary, language monitoring isn't required, and concerns unique to being a person of color are understood without explanation.

Just grow with it!
